Adecco Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our client's team in Des Moines, IA as a Medical Support Specialist. This is a direct-hire, full-time, and permanent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess donor eligibility, including managing informed consent, providing AIDS education, and conducting medical history interviews and acceptance checks.
  • Evaluate donor reactions at the facility in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to SOPs for medical emergencies.
  • Team up with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs when needed to provide unacceptable findings to donors or guidance concerning medical or technical issues.
  • Champion vaccination programs for employees, including Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccinations.
  • Master the art of incident management and potentially become a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and support investigations associated with pandemic threats within the local community.

Requirements:

  • IA RN license
  • BLS & CPR (Adult & Pediatric)

  • Plasma knowledge
  • Venipuncture skills

Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
