Pipe Welder

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Welder to join our team at Ergon Construction Group. As a Pipe Welder, you will be responsible for supporting the fabrication, installation, and repair of piping, structural steel, and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide S.M.A.W. and G.T.A.W. welds that meet B31.1 and B31.3 ASME welding codes
• Operate a forklift to perform various tasks
• Use specialized tools such as track torch, beveling torch, hand torch, plasma arc, and others
• Repair and service piping, tanks, boilers, and vessels
• Work on blueprints and project a positive attitude to customers

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• Successful completion of training as outlined by ISO Services
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Ability to work in high places, extreme temperatures, and confined spaces
