**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Operational Team Lead to oversee daily operations at Heavenly Comfort AFC. This key role requires a strong leader who can motivate and guide the team to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shift Management: Oversee staff during shift operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.
  • Team Performance: Assign tasks, set performance goals, and delegate responsibilities effectively.
  • Scheduling and Staffing: Manage shift schedules, including breaks, to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Training and Development: Train and support new and existing employees, providing guidance and feedback to improve performance.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, enforcing safety protocols.
  • Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels during the shift, receiving stock, organizing storage, and reducing waste.
  • Transactions and Cash Handling: Process transactions and handle cash accurately when required.
  • Policies and Standards: Implement and reinforce company policies and standards among staff members.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and other shift leads to ensure smooth transitions between shifts.
  • Reporting and Continuous Improvement: Report shift activities, incidents, and staff performance issues to higher management in a timely manner.
  • Employee Engagement: Promote a positive work atmosphere that encourages teamwork and employee engagement.
  • Training and Meetings: Participate in regular training and meetings to stay updated on company practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Award and Recognition: Recognize and reward team members for outstanding performance, fostering motivation and job satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role or leadership position
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and lead a team
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Work Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and proficiency in office software
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Training and Motivation: Capacity to train and motivate staff
  • Inventory Management: Experience in inventory management and ordering supplies
  • Compliance: Ability to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Financial Acumen: Basic financial acumen to manage shift budget and sales goals
  • Customer Service: Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • CPR and First Aid: CPR and first aid certification may be required or preferred

Compensation: $17-$19 per hour
