Position Overview & Responsibilities

At KFI Engineers, we view CO-OPs as an investment in our future. This means we need to help educate our CO-OPs in the way we do business, and expose them to a range of projects, work and industry sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform engineering tasks, providing input and technical expertise
  • Work closely with management, project team, and clients
  • Participate in various meetings, providing analysis, input, and recommendations
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules as needed
  • Report writing
Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar area of study

Displays professional engineering ethics and complies with KFI policies and procedures

Working knowledge of engineering design software preferred (e.g. AutoCad, Revit etc)

Treats people with respect; relates well to people regardless of their organization level, personality, or background

Proficient in use of MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

Writes and presents effectively; adjusts to fit the audience and the message

Organized and able to manage time effectively

Able to adapt to changing work demands and priorities

Professional, able to represent KFI in a professional manner

Willingness to travel if needed

Working Conditions

Some work locations will feature the tough terrain typical of construction sites or require lifting or moving field testing equipment
