Job Summary

The Department of Insurance is seeking a highly skilled Staff Management Auditor to join our team. As a Staff Management Auditor, you will be responsible for leading and providing professional expertise to associate management auditors on complex and sensitive audits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and provide professional expertise to associate management auditors on complex and sensitive audits.
  • Conduct financial, performance, and information systems audits under the direction of the Internal Audit Unit Supervisor.
  • Develop and implement audit plans, procedures, and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and address audit findings and recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure the department's audit processes are current and effective.
Requirements
  • Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field, such as accounting, finance, or business administration.
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in auditing, with a focus on staff management and operations.
  • Must have excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to travel to various locations as needed.
