Job Overview

Panic Button is seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing cutting-edge gaming technology.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $160,000-$180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-performance, multithreaded software applications using C++;
  • Maintain and support existing systems to ensure optimal performance and stability;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, art, and design, to drive innovation and excellence;
  • Develop expertise in Unreal Engine or other proprietary engines and modern console hardware;
  • Balancing performance and maintainability in software development;
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience;
  • Strong knowledge of C++ programming language;
  • 4+ years of work experience in gaming industry;
  • Experience with low-level memory management and optimization;
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing requirements;
