We are seeking a skilled Mobile Cardiac Technologist Specialist to join our team. This 13-week contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing your expertise to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for observing cardiac rhythms, running and posting rhythm strips, interpreting rhythms, and verifying lead placement on patients. A strong understanding of patient safety and precautions is essential, as well as excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Observe cardiac rhythm of patients on monitor
  • Run and post rhythm stripes at designated intervals
  • Interpret rhythms and validate computer readout
  • Check and verify lead placement on patients
  • Compare posted strip to previous strip and notify nursing staff of changes
  • Notify nursing staff of any change in cardiac rhythm
  • Test equipment for proper working order
  • Maintain work area clean and orderly

About the Position:

This is a full-time contract position requiring at least 2 years of experience as an EKG Technologist. The ideal candidate will possess independent decision-making skills, a solid understanding of patient safety, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have a proven 2-year track record as an EKG Technologist, possess independent decision-making skills, and demonstrate a strong understanding of patient safety and precautions. Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
