Rome Judicial Circuit - Investigative Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Investigative Specialist to join our team at the Rome Judicial Circuit. As a Criminal Investigator III, you will conduct complex investigations, interview witnesses and law enforcement officials, and prepare reports for cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough investigations, gathering evidence and interviewing key individuals
  • Prepare detailed reports and present findings to the court
  • Collaborate with law enforcement officials and other agencies to ensure effective case management
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations, and maintain knowledge of investigative techniques

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution
  • Two years of experience in a related field, or four years of experience in law enforcement
  • P.O.S.T. certification
  • Valid Class C driver's license (may be required for some positions)
