Job Title: Counselor II Position

At Families First, we are seeking a skilled Counselor II to join our Behavioral Health Department. As a Counselor II, you will provide psychotherapy and social services to individuals, families, and groups, helping them to resolve personal, emotional, and environmental problems that interfere with their daily functioning.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assess clients for service and provide provisional diagnostic impressions
* Provide therapeutic sessions and build treatment plans
* Identify and link clients with community resources and other nonprofit organizations
* Provide crisis intervention services and maintain accurate case records

Requirements:

* Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Counseling, or Professional Counseling
* Two years of individual, couples, and family counseling experience
* Licensure by the Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bilingual (Spanish)
* Certified Master Addiction Counselor (MAC)
