University of California Irvine invites applications for openings as Physician Instructors in the Health Sciences Clinical Series. As part of the Department of Pediatrics in the School of Medicine, these positions are non-tenured track.

The ideal candidate should be a licensed physician with an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree and relevant board certification or eligibility within their specialty. Teaching experience and interest in mentoring junior faculty members are essential qualifications.

Applicants must have a strong commitment to clinical practice and education. The successful candidate will join a diverse group of physicians contributing to the University's mission of advancing health sciences research, education, and patient care.

Responsibilities include participating in departmental and hospital-wide educational activities, developing curriculum, and teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. In addition, applicants will contribute to the advancement of knowledge through scholarly activities and participate in administrative duties as assigned.

This position offers a competitive salary range, commensurate with experience, starting at approximately $74,800 annually. Benefits include comprehensive medical and dental insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans.
