About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Team Lead to join our team. In this role, you will lead a team of maintenance professionals, ensuring that service requests are completed on time, and help drive the overall success of our properties.

  • Lead the Team: Hire, train, and motivate a dedicated maintenance team, setting the example and building a positive, high-performance work culture.
  • Maintain Excellence: Oversee all aspects of maintenance, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, and general upkeep, ensuring both vacant and occupied apartments are in pristine condition.
  • Problem-Solve and Innovate: Quickly respond to service requests, troubleshoot problems, and provide solutions that ensure the highest quality of service and customer satisfaction.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Work with our Property Manager to manage the maintenance budget, ensuring that expenses stay within budget, and help plan for future property improvements.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Implement and manage a proactive preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and costly repairs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or in a similar role in property management or apartment maintenance. Prior experience in supervising a team is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of general maintenance, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical work, and building systems. HVAC certification is required.
  • Leadership: A natural leader with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Customer Focus: A passion for delivering excellent customer service and ensuring resident satisfaction.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet and provide timely solutions to maintenance challenges.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement options.
