Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Powerplant Component Specialist to join our team at AVMATS Jet Support.

Job Description:

This role involves performing inspections, testing, repair, and overhaul of aircraft powerplant accessory components. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, familiarity with maintenance manuals, and the ability to work in a FAR Part 145 repair station environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections and repairs on aircraft powerplant accessory components.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve component issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and documentation as required.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Airframe, Powerplant, or Repairman Certificate.
  • Working knowledge of FAR Part 145 repair station regulations.
  • Familiarity with aviation industry standards and practices.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in an aviation-related field.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Estimated Salary:

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
