As a Clinical Leadership Director at Shrub Oak International School, you will join our senior leadership team, playing a vital role in shaping the delivery of best-practice transdisciplinary clinical services. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage our interdisciplinary team, ensuring seamless provision of clinical services across the school, community, and campus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Manage Clinical Team: Oversee all clinical services provided by our interdisciplinary team, including occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language pathology, and mental health services. Ensure staff are adequately trained, supported, and aligned with organizational policies.
  • Budget Management: Effectively manage the clinical department's budget and expenses, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Clinical Program Oversight: Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical programs to meet the individualized needs of our students. Collaborate with other teams, including education, health and wellness, recreation, and residential, to ensure cohesive student support.

The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in Psychology or a related field, along with active licensure in New York State as a Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Mental Health Counselor. A minimum of 10 years' experience in clinical management, with at least five years in a special needs setting, is required. Experience working with adolescents on the autism spectrum is essential.
