About the Role

We are seeking a Clinical Access Nurse LPN to join our team at Eskenazi Health in Indianapolis, IN.

Job Summary

The Clinical Access Nurse LPN serves as a main source of contact for clinical questions, refill requests, and prior authorizations for patients of the clinic. The ideal candidate will have current Indiana licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse and a minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a main source of contact for clinical questions, refill requests, and prior authorizations for patients of the clinic.
  • Responsible for all phone calls and walk-ins related to prescription refills, patient questions, pharmacy calls, physician calls, and prior authorization calls.
  • Complete correspondence and communication with practitioners via email, in accordance with the paper light initiative.
  • Check the fax machine and complete prior authorization requests and other clinical requests throughout the day.
  • Responsible for completing FMLA and Disability Paperwork as related to clinic specialties.
Requirements
  • Current Indiana license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
