MEDICORP, INC is recruiting a Hematology Oncologist to join our team at our state-of-the-art cancer center in South Carolina.

Compensation Package
The compensation package includes a base salary of $481,250 (MGMA median) plus WRVU bonuses, with production bonuses available based on WRVU calculations. The contract length is 3 years, and a signing bonus of $30,000-$35,000 is offered (paid after 30 days of employment).
Job Description
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, with 36 patient contact hours and 4 administrative hours per week. The typical schedule includes:
- 1-hour new patient visits
- 30-45 minute follow-up visits
- 1:3 call consult only service - no admissions (goal is to be 1:4 ultimately)
- Rounding in the hospital, with consults and rounding done by the physician on call
Cancer Center
Our cancer center features a built-in 2021 Hem/Onc Clinic and Infusion Center, patient navigator hired in 2021, palliative services on campus/in-house, Duke Tumor Board participation, and a fast-track process for patients allowing them to be seen/treated at MUSC. Clinical trials are coming soon, with an expected accreditation timeframe of 15-28 months.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to be fellowship-trained and board-certified/eligible in hematology oncology. J1 and H1B candidates are accepted, and 2022 candidates as well as those currently practicing are eligible.
