About the Opportunity

GPAC is assisting a prominent Turfgrass business in expanding its team with a skilled Turfgrass Sales Professional. This position offers a competitive base salary, commission-based on performance, and comprehensive benefits.

Job Summary

This Turfgrass Sales Professional will be responsible for creating turf input recommendations for clients, providing expert advice on fertilizer, chemical, seed, and custom application services. The successful candidate will maintain a current customer base and grow it by delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create tailored turf input recommendations for clients
  • Offer guidance on fertilizer, chemical, seed, and custom application services
  • Maintain and expand the existing customer base through excellent customer service
  • Assist with computer-related turf and agronomy inputs
Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A degree or equivalent experience in Soil & Plant Sciences, Horticulture, Agriculture, or a related field of study
  • In-depth knowledge of turfgrass products and a proven book of business (preferably in golf courses, large projects, etc.)
  • Current experience in sales positions related to turf, ornamental, or landscaping
