Job Summary:
UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound imaging procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ultrasound imaging procedures using various modalities, including 2D and 3D imaging.
- Position patients and adjust equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
- Analyze images and identify any abnormalities or areas of concern.
- Communicate findings to radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- State licensure if required by law.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
