Job Opportunity:

UTMB Health is seeking an Orthopedic Physician to join our team as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. This is a non-tenure track clinical appointment with a focus on providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the academic mission of the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide ambulatory care to patients with orthopedic conditions
• Participate in evening and weekend phone call coverage
• Attend meetings as deemed necessary by the Medical Director

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree
• Current and unrestricted license to practice in the State of Texas
• Eligibility or certification by a board recognized by the American Board of Specialties
• Registration with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA)
• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
• Administrative experience
