**Job Summary**
The Freight Logistics Specialist is responsible for unloading sand at facilities operated by HC Services LLC. Key responsibilities include moving rail cars into position, monitoring flows, directing sand to appropriate trucks or silos, and preparing empty cars for transit.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Unload sand at HC Services LLC-operated facilities.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment as needed.
- Participate in facility construction and equipment installation.
- Assist as directed at transload facilities; observe equipment use and railcar operations during training.
- Report orally and in writing to supervisors; maintain records (daily reports and maintenance logs).
- Assist truck drivers with loading.
- Keep facilities clean and orderly (remove spilled sand, clean grease, oil, and paint spills).
- Additional tasks may be assigned from time to time.
**Requirements:**
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 6 months to 1 year of work experience.
- Self-motivated individual.
- Mechanical aptitude and creativity required for frequent repairs without assistance.
- Ability to follow safety compliance procedures.
- Basic computer skills necessary.
- Valid driver's license with no violations in the past 5 years.
- Ability to sit, stand, reach, lift 50 pounds, and manipulate heavy loads or levers.
- Ability to operate tractors and similar equipment.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year.
