Job Summary

The Banking Center Manager - Business Development and Operations Lead is a key role within Field & Main Bank, responsible for driving business growth and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail banking centers. This individual will lead a team of retail banking professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to increase consumer and mortgage lending, while maintaining a strong focus on customer relationships and retention.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the banking center, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and bank policies.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of retail banking professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional customer service and business results.
  • Customer Service: Provide premier customer service, ensuring that customers receive timely and accurate assistance with their banking needs.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including Bank Secrecy Act, Community Reinvestment Act, and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent with post-secondary education or demonstrated equivalent in work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years of supervisory experience in retail banking, with a strong background in consumer and mortgage lending.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Proficient in computer systems and technology, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.

Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work in an open office setting, with frequent interruptions and a high level of customer interaction. The individual must be able to stand for long periods of time and may be required to lift items weighing up to 25-70 lbs.
