Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist

Genie Healthcare is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Specialist to join our team. As a Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse RN to work in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Labor and Delivery nursing and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care to Labor and Delivery patients
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as code blues and obstetric emergencies
  • Assist with vaginal births and C-sections
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
  • Current RN license in the state of Texas
  • ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, nights
