Tax Manager

Tatum by Randstad is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join their team in the Denver Tech Center. As a key member of the tax team, you will focus on federal and state income tax matters and tax provision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and complete tax returns and reports involved with federal and state income taxes.
- Assist in the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns and quarterly estimated and extension payment computations.
- Support the company's corporate income tax provision process for compliance with US GAAP/SEC reporting as required by ASC 740.
- Assist with federal and state income tax audits, as necessary, ensuring timely and accurate responses to audit inquiries.
- Research developments in tax law to determine appropriate tax methods and identify tax savings opportunities for the company.
- Write tax position papers and technical memos to support the company's tax positions.
- Support various special projects and assist with ad hoc tax assignments as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in income tax compliance and income tax accounting reporting under ASC 740.
- Familiarity with tax software such as OneSource Tax Provision, Longview Tax Provision Software, CorpTax, and Sage Fixed Assets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in writing tax position papers and technical memos.
The client would relocate the right candidate to Denver, but would prefer a local person. This role is also 5 days a week in the office, located in the Denver Tech Center.
