About the Role:This is a critical leadership position that requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage and motivate a team of nurses and support staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical leadership and support to the Operating Room team, ensuring high-quality patient care and a safe working environment.
- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Operating Room, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to nurses and support staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Current/valid nursing license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) required.
- Perioperative experience required with a minimum of 3 years current Operating Room experience.
- Leadership experience strongly preferred.
- CNOR preferred.
