Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab to join our team at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. As a key member of our cardiac services department, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Plan of Care Intervention: Performing medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care, documenting care given
  • Patient Monitoring: Recording and communicating patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family
  • Care Coordination: Collaborating with other disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs
  • Education and Support: Evaluating learning needs of patients and/or families and providing patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of one year of acute care experience in a hospital setting
  • A current state nursing license
  • Appropriate certifications required for specific positions
  • A degree from an accredited school
  • The ability to communicate clearly and demonstrate code of conduct and compliance policies
