Job Description

The EyeCare Advisor plays a crucial role in creating exceptional value for our customers by delivering the LensCrafters Experience. This involves ensuring all patients receive the highest quality Optometric care and meeting the store's key performance indicators by integrating the Brand Story and executing the patient experience/behaviors seamlessly.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Greet customers promptly and answer their queries in a friendly and courteous manner.">
  • Explain all required paperwork, tests, products, and services to customers.">
  • Review prescriptions and patient information carefully, identifying special needs and consulting with Optician, Managing Doctor, or Retail Management when necessary.">
  • Show patience and courtesy to indecisive or difficult customers and patients.">
  • Perform work accurately and thoroughly despite time pressure and customer volume.">
  • Identify situations involving unsatisfied customers and act quickly for resolution.">
  • Demonstrate knowledge of appointment book/scheduling procedures and computer operation/procedures.">
  • Handle and file all patient records in an organized and efficient manner in accordance with HIPAA.">
  • Place contact lens orders, process shipments, and properly submit invoices for payment.">
  • Operate the POS system terminal, inputting customer/patient and prescription information with accuracy and attention to detail.">
  • Acknowledge to customers 'One Hour' processing and expected delivery times.">
  • Take pride in the appearance of the store and ensure visual displays are in accordance with Company provided guidelines.">
  • Maintain a safe working environment for all associates/patients.">

Retail:

  • Demonstrate good product knowledge and take initiative to accurately describe features and benefits of various lenses and frames.">
  • Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses best suited for their vision, lifestyle, and budgetary requirements.">

Doctor's Office:

  • ">
  • Perform pre-examination testing with accuracy and attention to detail, explaining measurements and answering patient questions.">
  • Provide coaching and guidance to patients on contact lens care and handling.">
  • Maintain and disinfect contact lens inventory, offering clinical support to the Optometrist as needed.">

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • ">
  • High School graduate or equivalent.">
  • Strong customer service skills (internal and external).">
  • Knowledge of current fashion trends.">
  • Strong communication and listening skills.">
  • Problem-solving ability.">
  • Familiarity with cash register, computers, and calculators.">
  • Organization skills.">
  • Sales skills.">
  • Strong basic math skills.">
  • Knowledge of office and store merchandise.">

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, and/or optical.">

Estimated Salary: $55,000 per year
