We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team in North Mid Central. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for expanding existing sales, developing new sales, and building an account portfolio in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expand existing sales and develop new sales in North Mid Central
  • Grow leasing companies, fleets, and trailer business
  • Grow business with Body OEM's
  • Direct, develop, and execute sales plans and strategies to attain better profitability and level of service throughout the territory
  • Deliver sales presentations to a range of prospective clients
  • Generate leads
  • Meet or exceed sales goals
  • Negotiate all contracts with prospective clients
  • Assist with determining pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports
  • Analyze sales statistics to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of customers
  • Manage regional meetings/associations
  • Attend meetings with vendors/suppliers
  • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products

Requirements:

  • Must reside in California or willing to relocate
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Business to Business (B2B) Sales
  • Prior work experience in truck equipment or truck sales experience, preferred
  • Computer skills with knowledge of Windows applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services
  • Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods
  • Experience communicating with customers verbally to convey information and in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience
  • Problem solving with the ability to apply logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Experience collaborating with others and building teams
  • Work independently take initiative and be resourceful with minimal supervision
  • Experience negotiating contracts and influencing others to achieve a positive outcome
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing data and generating reports
  • Ability to travel to various states within the U.S. to meet with customers, and participate in trade shows
