Residency Program Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as the Residency Program Director in our Department of Dermatology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the residency program, ensuring the highest quality of patient care, and fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to improve the residency program's curriculum, clinical rotations, and educational activities.
- Collaborate with faculty members to ensure the program's compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Recruit, select, and mentor residents to ensure their success and growth in the program.
- Develop and manage the program's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and allocation of funds.
- Communicate effectively with residents, faculty, and staff to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
- Graduate from an accredited medical school.
- Active or eligible for NY state medical license.
- Board certified or board eligible in Dermatology (with ability to become board certified within 5 years).
- Cultural sensitivity to a diverse and under-served patient population.
- Proof of Covid-19 vaccination is required prior to hire.
