Job Overview:

  • You will be responsible for performing MIG welding tasks with precision and efficiency.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in MIG welding is required.
  • You will also utilize an oxygen/acetylene (propane) torch for cutting and welding.
  • Your ability to demonstrate good spatial awareness to effectively interpret and work with blueprints and layouts is crucial.
  • Inspecting welds for accuracy and quality, making necessary adjustments to maintain precision, is another key responsibility.
  • You will operate hand and power tools to prepare materials for welding.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area is essential.
  • You must have the ability to use basic hand tools.
  • The physical demands of the job include heavy lifting and extensive walking.

Requirements:

  • You should possess good time management skills.
  • A valid Driver's License is required.
  • You must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
  • Dependability and flexibility to work varied hours are essential.
  • A strong mechanical background is a must.
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are required.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
  • A commitment to workplace safety is a must.
  • Forklift operation experience is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • We offer competitive compensation, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurances.
  • Paid time off and holiday pay are available after the training period.
  • We also offer a retirement savings plan.
  • The schedule is Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend and holiday work.
