As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for leading our daytime or nighttime operations. You will be the driving force behind a successful shift, predicting and managing the flow of business to ensure a productive and enjoyable experience for our customers and team members.

Your leadership style will be hands-on, involving building orders, suggestive selling, baking, and interacting with customers. You will also be responsible for taking pride in your team's performance, knowing that your leadership attributes to a successful night for your store.

As a Shift Leader, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing incredible customer service and quality products to all of our guests throughout their experience within our bakeries
  • Supporting store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift, communicating pertinent information, monitoring production efficiency, holding the team accountable to company standards and procedures, and assisting in the training and coaching of team members
  • Prioritizing and delegating tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the cookie crew team
  • Supporting and working alongside the Cookie Crew
  • Providing a safe, clean, working environment for our guests and staff and adhering to safe food handling practices
  • Managing cash handling and deposits

Desired skills and experience include:

  • At least 1 year of working experience in a customer service focused role
  • Point of Sales systems experience
  • Outstanding communication, time management, and people skills
  • Outgoing/friendly/patient
  • Detail focused and results-oriented
  • Ability to lead-by-example and motivate others
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Must be 18 years or older to be employed
