As a Mental Health Counselor with the County of Napa, you will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to providing exceptional care to individuals struggling with mental health issues. Your role will involve delivering case management services, including therapy, treatment coordination, and linkage to community resources.

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Counselor to join our team. As a licensed professional, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and contribute to the overall well-being of our community.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of mental health principles, and experience working with diverse populations. A Master's degree from an accredited university and current licensure by the State of California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners are required.

Salary: $48-$58 per hour

Job Requirements:

  1. A Master's degree from an accredited university in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, clinical or counseling psychology, or a closely related field.
  2. Current licensure by the State of California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners as either a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC); OR Current license by the State of California as a Licensed Psychologist.
  3. Two years supervised experience in a mental health setting providing direct services to mentally or emotionally disabled persons, including dual diagnosis and addiction concerns for those assigned to the substance abuse setting.
