Diesel Mechanic Supervisor

Job Description
">- Troubleshoot and repair complex diesel equipment, including tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Manage maintenance logs and track repairs to optimize fleet performance.
- Respond to roadside emergencies and perform rescue services as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment issues and improve overall efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing training and education.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the overall effectiveness of the maintenance team.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to company safety standards and government guidelines.
Requirements
">- 3 years of experience in commercial diesel mechanics or refrigeration technology.
- Prior experience with troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of heavy equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to collaborate with drivers and other stakeholders.
- Able to read and understand technical manuals and service documents.
- Familiarity with computer systems and software used in maintenance management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
