About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapist to join our team at Burrell Behavioral Health. As a Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, diagnose, and treat clients based on their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' presenting concerns and gather relevant background information.
  • Render a diagnosis and formulate a treatment plan using evidence-based interventions and techniques.
  • Provide individual, group, family, and other practical counseling services to meet clients' needs and goals of treatment.
  • Complete intake and assessment processes within designated time frames.
  • Develop and document treatment plans that demonstrate individualization and evolution based on information gathered from assessments.
  • Participate in clinical staffing and treatment meetings, providing feedback on all pertinent cases.
  • Meet department-specific Collaborative Service Goal (CSG) requirements.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure authorized services are approved and adequate information is provided within specified time frames.
  • Document all services provided in accordance with state regulatory and accreditation standards.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Licensure with the applicable board of professional registration for the state in which you will be practicing.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and communicate ideas clearly and effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Able to establish effective relationships via telephone or telehealth and personal contacts.
  • Ability to follow direction and accept supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a mental health or substance use disorder treatment setting.
  • Knowledge of caseload management and rehabilitation methods, principles, and techniques.
  • Ability to provide services at the school site during school operating hours (for school-based services programs).
