Job Summary

The role of a Physical Therapist at Avera@Home Aberdeen involves restoring patients' function, alleviating pain, and preventing disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed therapy services in home and healthcare facility settings.

This position requires the ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served by Avera@Home.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and administer medically prescribed therapy services to patients in home and healthcare facility settings.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served by Avera@Home.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program of the American Physical Therapy Association preferred.
  • One or more years experience in-hospital Physical Therapy, long-term care, or outpatient therapy preferred.
  • Licensed by the State of South Dakota as a Physical Therapist required.
  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the states of Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, or North Dakota may be required depending on the service area.
