Job Summary

CHS Inc. is a leading global agribusiness seeking a skilled Maintenance Superintendent to oversee the safe and efficient maintenance of our Pipeline and Terminal operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pipeline operations and maintenance, with experience in supervising and directing maintenance personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct maintenance personnel, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies and standards.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and Operational Compliance teams.
  • Ensure compliance with PHMSA and OSHA regulations.
  • Audit compliance documents and represent maintenance during internal and external audits.
  • Oversee maintenance and repair work, including coordination with Operations Superintendent.
  • Participate in collective bargaining process and assist with budget preparation.
  • Travel as needed and be available for on-call duties.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of experience in pipeline operations and/or construction.
  • Prior leadership experience with progressively advancing level of leadership responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Working knowledge of valves, pumps, and pipeline maintenance-related tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database data entry.
