We are seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team as a CT Technologist. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing laboratory, general radiography, and computerized tomography imaging procedures, ensuring the highest quality images while prioritizing patient care.

Job Summary

The CT Technologist is an essential member of our imaging department, responsible for conducting regular inventory, maintaining proper levels of supplies, and participating in certification processes. You will work closely with our Radiology Leader to ensure compliance with government regulations, physician orders, and facility policies.

Responsibilities:
  • Conducting radiology studies in accordance with laws and company policy
  • Proper documentation and consenting per protocol
  • Participating in certification processes
  • Following HIPAA policies and procedures
  • Maintaining a clean and well-maintained radiology suite
  • Reviewing and upholding lab policies and procedures
  • Assisting in patient care, including obtaining vital signs and helping set up for procedures
  • Administering and documenting contrast material
  • Sending images to Radiologists for interpretation/reading
Requirements:
  • A graduate of a 2-year accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Current registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.)
  • Must have and maintain M.R.T. registration with the Texas Medical Board
  • Adequate CT experience and proven competence as determined by the Radiation Safety Officer
  • BLS Certification required
