Senior Project Manager

The Program Director will play a key leadership role in creating, managing, and executing the program development process for high-profile global events. This involves managing speaker engagement, driving innovative programming formats, and ensuring seamless content delivery.

This role requires experience in speaker management, program development, and cross-functional collaboration, with a strong creative mindset and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to think laterally and come up with innovative ideas to bring a 'wow effect' to our programs and business development presentations.

• Work closely with the Community Engagement Lead to create program and speaker engagement strategies for each project assigned.
• Develop creative concepts and formats to deliver impactful programs and presentations.
• Lead and execute all aspects of program development, including research, drafting, session development, and scripting.
• Manage databases of speakers for events and initiatives.
• Research, outreach, and invite speakers, as well as manage ongoing relationships.
• Prepare value propositions to approach and secure knowledge and editorial partners.
• Manage speaker content briefings ahead of and during events.
• Write final reports of events, including summaries, graphs, charts, etc.
• Supervise a team of Project Coordinators throughout the execution of projects.
• Support business development efforts by preparing concept notes for RFPs.

We are seeking a highly experienced professional with a Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Event Management, Communications, Business, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, event planning, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Experience in managing large-scale, complex projects in the MICE industry, including conferences, forums, summits, or public events, is essential. Proven track record of managing client relationships at the highest levels and delivering projects that meet or exceed expectations.

Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French or other languages is an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management tools is necessary. Familiarity with audiovisual production, stage management, and broadcast technologies is a plus.

Ability to travel frequently for site visits, client meetings, and project execution, both domestically and internationally, is required. Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
