About the Role

Stamford Health is seeking skilled Registered Nurses to join our Float Pool team, providing expert care to patients across various units within the hospital.

Job Summary

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where you will be trained to provide exceptional patient care on Medicine, Oncology, and General Surgery units. As a member of our Float Pool team, you will have the flexibility to rotate through different units, ensuring adequate staffing and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to the highest standards of nursing practice.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Rotate through various units, adapting to changing needs and priorities.
  • Develop and maintain strong communication skills, ensuring seamless transitions and effective collaboration.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Connecticut.
  • An Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited School of Nursing; a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • A minimum of one year of hospital nursing experience, preferably in a float pool setting.
