Meat Cutter Professional

At Sam's Club, we're seeking a skilled Senior Meat Cutter to drive sales and deliver exceptional service to our members. This role is based in Salisbury, MD, and offers a competitive hourly wage range of $19.00 to $26.00.

This Senior Meat Cutter position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations in the meat department. You will work closely with other associates to maintain high-quality standards, control shrinkage, and provide excellent customer service. Additionally, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of various meat products, including types and seasonality;
• Processing meat according to specifications, such as cutting, slicing, grinding, and wrapping;
• Ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management;
• Leveraging digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement;
• Driving business results by planning for profitability and maintaining operational excellence.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• 6 months' experience working in a fresh production department;
• The ability to successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period;
• A strong commitment to delivering exceptional member service and maintaining high-quality standards.
