Tesla's Cell Operations Team is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and implement OCAPs (Out of Control Action Plans)
- Complete documentation and record-keeping tasks accurately and on time to ensure compliance with quality requirements
- Handle MRB (Material Review Board) materials following the MRB process, including identification, documentation, and disposition of non-conforming materials
- Support the operation of multiple tools simultaneously, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes
- Clear yield alarms and conduct initial investigations, as well as start basic OCAPs to address deviations from expected performance
- Ensure a high-level product quality by completing tasks such as web path checks, audits 5S activities, etc.
- Experience in large or small scale manufacturing in a production process role
- Experience with operating and troubleshooting automated/semi-automated manufacturing equipment, basic mechanical troubleshooting preferred
- Demonstrate ability to analyze problems and error conditions, identify root causes, and implement viable long-term solutions, Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles is preferred, but not required
- Command of the English language, both written and verbal with ability to understand and record maintenance procedures, shift pass downs
- Comfortable with frequent change of direction, dynamic work environment and passion to perform time-sensitive analysis under pressure
- Demonstrated ability to be a self-driven contributor with limited supervision
