**Key Responsibilities:**

Front Desk Coordinator Responsibilities (90% of your time):
  • Customer Service/Administration
  • Greet all patients, offer beverages, and check them in/out
  • Maintain accountability for the schedule book
  • Introduce visitors to the appropriate personnel
  • Conduct confirmation calls for appointments
  • Pull next day's patient charts and organize them per scheduled appointment time
  • Prepare new patient charts
  • Maintain inventory of front office supplies
  • Check email and forward to the appropriate staff member
  • Organize and maintain file systems
  • Keep the Front Desk and Lobby area clean
Occasional Medical Assisting Duties (10% of your time):
  • Schedule post-op appointments
  • Retrieve individual records upon request
  • Monitor the collection, processing, maintenance, storage, and access to patient and clinical records
  • Assist with pre-operative and post-operative visits
  • Prepare the operating room and instruments for procedures
  • Clean and sterilize the operating room and instruments after procedures
  • Dispose of contaminated materials in a timely manner

**Physical Demands:**

  • Use of the telephone, computer, and other related instruments or devices
  • Vision and hearing acuity
  • Standing and walking for periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

**Key Skills/Qualifications:**

  • Maintain BLS certification
  • Ability to interpret instructions and write reports
  • Problem-solving and logical reasoning skills
  • Familiarity with MS Office, including Excel
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide

**Education:**

  • Successful completion of a Medical Assistant program from an accredited institution and meet state requirements
