Compensation: $20.60 per hour

This role is part-time, scheduled from Monday to Friday, 5 AM to 11 AM, totaling 30 hours a week.

Applicants must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a Passenger (P) Endorsement.

Covid vaccination is required. Previous customer service experience, particularly in passenger transport, is essential.

We offer a monthly bonus of $150 for safe driving and require attendance at a monthly safety meeting to discuss operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional service to clients and customers, ensuring positive interactions and addressing inquiries, including providing directions.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections, maintain bus cleanliness, refuel vehicles, log trip counts, and assist passengers with disabilities.
  • Adhere to scheduled shifts, arriving on time and in uniform.
  • Maintain a valid state-issued driver's license while on duty.
  • Ensure an acceptable driving record with the DMV.
  • Report any accidents, policy violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
  • Communicate any hazards, such as debris or spills, to the garage office.
  • Assist in other roles, such as Cashier or Valet, when authorized.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of the garage area and major routes to facilitate seamless transportation for customers.
  • Assist customers with luggage and travel items as needed.
  • Support the Facility Manager with additional tasks as required.

Qualifications

Vaccination Requirement: This position requires employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19, subject to valid medical or religious accommodations.

Essential Qualifications: To succeed in this role, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Education/Experience: Less than a high school education or one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • License Requirement: As per DOT regulations, a valid CDL Class A, B, or C with Passenger Endorsement is mandatory.
  • DOT Medical Card: A Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.
  • Availability: Shift requirements may vary based on location needs, including potential weekend or third-shift availability.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence, as well as effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations using American currency.
  • Appearance: Employees must maintain a neat and clean appearance, wearing the complete uniform at all times.
  • Physical Demands: Employees must be able to stand, walk, and handle cash and equipment regularly, with occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds.
