Behavioral Support Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate Behavioral Technician for a full-time position in Kingston, PA.
Estimated Salary:$45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience.
Responsibilities:- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Provide one-on-one support to students with behavioral, emotional, and social challenges.
- Collect data on student progress and behaviors, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Provide behavioral support in both classroom and small group settings.
- Help students develop social skills, self-regulation, and coping strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to implement behavior strategies and support student success.
- Monitor students' progress and report changes or concerns to the BCBA and other team members.
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- Previous experience working with children, especially those with behavioral or developmental needs, preferred.
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with students, teachers, and families.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students growth and development.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations.
