Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nephrology Specialist to join our team at DaVita Inc. This is an exciting opportunity to work with patients suffering from end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease in an outpatient dialysis center.

About the Role

As a Nephrology Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate care to patients and their families. You will work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the highest quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Providing Patient Care: Deliver high-quality patient care in an empathetic and compassionate manner, utilizing your nursing skills and knowledge to provide optimal treatment plans.
  • Clinical Decision Making: Make informed clinical decisions based on patient assessment and medical history, collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on dialysis treatments, medication management, and lifestyle modifications to promote overall health and well-being.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N)
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state where the facility is located
  • No prior dialysis experience is required, but relevant experience in ICU, Critical Care Unit, Emergency Room, or Medical Surgical settings is beneficial
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification is preferred

DaVita offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Our total rewards package includes comprehensive benefits, paid training, and opportunities for career growth and development.
