Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join a school district in Texas. As a licensed Speech Therapist, you will provide speech and language services to students with communication disorders, evaluate and diagnose communication disorders, and develop treatment plans.
Salary Information
The estimated salary for this position ranges from $65,000 to $85,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
Job Description
As a Speech Language Pathologist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting evaluations and assessments to diagnose communication disorders
- Developing individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and assessments
- Providing speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborating with other professionals, such as teachers and parents, to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
- Maintaining accurate records of evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions
- Attending meetings and providing reports on student progress
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid Texas State SLP License
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- Prior school-based experience is preferred, but not mandatory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
