We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at US Engine Valve in Norris, SC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $27.50 per hour, based on industry standards for maintenance technicians in the South Carolina area.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating machinery, replacing filters, and conducting quality checks. You will also be expected to troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions, utilizing your knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions using technical skills and experience
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication and replacement of parts
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure equipment is functioning properly
  • Assist in training new staff members on equipment operation and maintenance

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in a related field preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting; prior experience in a similar role highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and diagrams
