Job Summary

This role involves working under general direction on system technology projects to meet the business system needs for a client group. Key responsibilities include developing system design and interface specifications, identifying solutions to business needs, and implementing technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop proposed system design and interface specifications based on identified business needs using structured analytical techniques.
  • Assist in coordination of user/IT groups to identify solutions to business needs.
  • Communicate designs to Programmer Analysts for implementation of technology solutions.
  • Represent assigned client/application base to the IT department.
  • Develop training, testing, and security plans to ensure design meets defined business requirements.
  • Collaborate with Account Analysts to identify and assess organizational strategies such as workflow and systems/applications to meet clients' operational needs.
  • Perform in the role of project manager or project coordinator for small projects.
  • Assist in the development of the IT Department's policies and procedures and recommend suggestions for improvement.
  • Collaborate with all departments of IT and recommend appropriate system backup procedures.
  • Act as liaison between Clients and IT Department personnel in addressing problem areas and operating conditions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, or a related field/discipline from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
  • Four (4) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of business requirements, technical designs/specifications, and project implementations.
  • Ability to assess business requirements and provide production support and services.
  • Knowledge of structured analysis concepts, problem management concepts, and organizational analysis with a focus on information systems.
  • Ability to analyze complex factors and select methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for managing and planning technology systems.
  • Knowledge of technical applications and interfaces typically used in a healthcare environment.
  • Ability to solve problems and identify solutions.
  • Ability to research and interpret relevant regulations, guidelines, and standards.
  • Ability to apply judgment and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to foster effective relationships and build consensus.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English effectively at a level appropriate for the safe and effective performance of the job.

Pay Range

Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.

Minimum to Midpoint Range (1.0 FTE): $124,800.00 to $165,484.80
