About the Role

We are seeking a skilled VDC Specialist I-II to join our team at The Haskell Company. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will leverage Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies to drive innovation and improve construction workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain integrated project coordination models using Navisworks software, creating clash detection reports based on analysis of multiple design disciplines and trade subcontractor 3D models.
  • Participate in virtual collaboration meetings with the project team, utilizing the coordination model as a decision-making tool to solve complex coordination issues.
  • Extract quantity data from Revit building information models for estimating teams, cross-referencing contract drawings and specifications for model accuracy.
  • Convert 2D drawing information to 3D Revit models for design and construction details, including the creation of custom parametric Revit families.
  • Provide model-based layout coordinates to field surveying teams onsite for the layout of self-perform concrete, steel, utilities, and other systems.
  • Process, register, and publish laser scan point cloud data for coordination.
  • Create 4D/5D construction sequence animations using Navisworks, Synchro, and Lumion software for proposals and construction teams.
  • Support innovation through research and testing of new technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Technology.
  • 1-3 Years of experience in BIM/VDC Technologies in the AEC industry (Level I). Minimum of 3 Years of experience in BIM/VDC Technologies in the AEC industry (Level II).
  • Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, and AutoCAD.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $115,000 depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, professional development opportunities, and more.
