About Dr. Martens

We are seeking passionate and flexible part-time Sales Assistants to join our dynamic team at the Dr. Martens York Outlet store, working approximately 10-18 hours a week. Our ideal candidate will drive sales, create memorable customer experiences, and exceed service expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales: Utilize your passion for Dr. Martens to meet sales targets and contribute to the success of our team.
  • Create Outstanding Customer Experiences: Infuse your unique personality into every interaction, ensuring customers leave with a positive impression of our brand.
  • Transaction Handling: Efficiently manage transactions at the till, adhering to our operating procedures.
  • Operating Procedures: Follow established protocols for handling deliveries, maintaining stock levels, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Teamwork and Support: Demonstrate empathy, work collaboratively with colleagues, and offer support when needed.
Requirements
  • Fashion Industry Experience: Proven track record in fast-paced customer-facing environments, preferably within fashion or lifestyle brands.
  • Resilience and Adaptability: Ability to handle pressure and maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations.
  • B-brand Ambassador: Embody the Dr. Martens culture, values, and spirit, inspiring others to do the same.
  • Customer Service Skills: Strong grasp of customer service principles and ability to connect with diverse customers.
  • Professionalism and Authenticity: Display confidence, professionalism, and authenticity in your approach.
  • Availability: Flexibility in scheduling is essential, with varying shifts each week.
