Accounting Professor

Savannah Technical College is seeking a full-time Accounting Instructor to provide high-quality instruction to students in the Accounting program. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a variety of courses, including financial accounting, managerial accounting, and taxation.

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and instructional materials
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback
• Maintain program certification requirements
• Prepare and maintain all required documentation and administrative reports
• Stay current with industry trends and developments
• Ensure a safe and secure learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues and other educators to support student success

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Three years' paid work experience in the Accounting field
• Documented excellent human-relations, interpersonal skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite

• Master's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Documented experience teaching post-secondary Accounting courses
• Active participation in professional/occupational organizations
