St. Charles Health System is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality patient care. Job Summary:The RN Medical Surgical position is responsible for providing direct patient care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices in acute care nursing.
- Current Oregon RN license.
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification.
- Department-specific acute care certification (e.g., CNRN, ONC, RNC, OCN, CRRN).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and changing priorities. The RN Medical Surgical position also requires the ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies, as well as stand for long periods of time.
